ANCHOR BAY FILMS ACQUIRES
MULTIPLE TERRITORIAL RIGHTS TO
NO ONE LIVES
BEVERLY HILLS, CA – Anchor Bay Films today announced the pick-up of multiple territorial rights including North America, U.K. and Australia to No One Lives from Pathé International. The film was co-produced by WWE Studios and Pathé and directed by famed Japanese director Ryuhei Kitamura (The Midnight Meat Train, Versus). The much-talked about horror film had its world premiere recently during the 2012 Toronto International Film Festival’s Midnight Madness. Anchor Bay Entertainment President Bill Clark made today’s announcement heading into the 2012 American Film Market.
“No One Lives is a unique horror film that we know audiences are going to love,” commented Kevin Kasha, Executive Vice President, Acquisitions and Co-Productions. “We’re pleased to be working with the team at WWE Studios again as well as their co-producers at Pathé.”
No One Lives is a smart and original horror movie about a killer in the grip of a dark and twisted love affair. A ruthless criminal gang takes a young couple hostage and goes underground to an abandoned house in the middle of nowhere. When the captive girl is killed, the tables are unexpectedly turned and the gang finds itself outsmarted by an urbane and seasoned killer determined to ensure that no one lives.
In addition to WWE’s Brodus Clay, No One Lives features Luke Evans (The Hobbit, The Fast and The Furious 6, The Raven), Adelaide Clemens (Silent Hill: Revelation), Lindsey Shaw (The Howling: Reborn, “Pretty Little Liars”), Derek Magyar (Train, “Star Trek: Enterprise”), Lee Tergesen (Texas Chainsaw Massacre: The Beginning) and America Olivo (Bitch Slap, Friday the 13th). The film was written by David Cohen.
